Our story

Three generations of helping families come home.

Award Realty began in earnest in 1988, when Floyd and Genelle Hardin bought the franchise, separated from Century 21, and struck out on their own. Before long they bought the office building on Keith Street, where Award Realty still works to this day.

Floyd and Genelle built the company on faith, family, and hard work, with one goal: to help people reach the dream of home ownership, patiently and within their means. In 1994 their daughter, Marcia Botts, came back to Cleveland and joined her parents, hitting the ground running and picking up the mantle of service in the local market.

Today Marcia leads Award Realty as Owner and Managing Broker, with a team of 20+ agents who carry that same heart. We're not the biggest name in town. We're the one your neighbors keep coming back to.
